The guitar tower at EMP *is* insane -- dare I say "insanely great"? ;-) We
visited EMP once, and I loved that thing, and why not? It combines guitars,
visual art, electromechanical gadgetry, and cool music!
It was a pain to find on the EMP website, but here it is:
http://www.emplive.com/visit/galleries/roots_branches.asp
Click on the images to open so not-very-big windows that say "Listen" but
don't do anything. Grumble... :-(
When I inquired in the EMP gift shop if there were recordings (CDs or DVDs)
of Roots and Branches, they look at me like I was crazy.
They should make a DVD about Roots and Branches (R&B, get it?). I wonder if
they shot any "Making of..." footage.
