[sdiy] what size drill bits for 1/4" and 1/8" jacks?

Maybe a stupid question, but what size drill bits (in lame US imperial
units) do you guys use for 1/4" and 1/8"(mini) jacks?

Getting ready to make a patch/mult panel of mixed jacks as a cv/gate
patchbay to easily route things around the studio... so I'm going to break
down and get a drill and bits for this purpose and for other DIY work. Any
tips/suggestions?
