Always liked the Siliconix analog switches much better than the
4066/4016. Better specs overall, including distortion, off spec, and
voltage range. Have a look at
http://www.mouser.com/catalog/618/201.pdf for a quick overview. Some
of their stuff gets exotic and expensive, but there are plenty down
in the DIY price range. Mouser also links out to the actual
Siliconix PDFs.
