Hello,
after taking a good break, and going over the circuit boards one more time i
finally found a solution to one of the problems. From one IC on the
controllerboard there was a pin bent, so it did not connect in the socket.
Some stupid technician must have caused that in the past, together with some
very bad soldering (and wire-bridges). I resoldered al those points and
removed the bridges, and fixed this IC's pin. Now my problem with choosing
the instrument groups is solved! Yesssssss.
Only 2 problems remain:
1. The very long release times and (sometimes) no response to the fader that
controls the release. This happens mostly on the strings and on the brass.
No problem with the piano and organ sounds.
2. Spit function works strange for the poly section. From the keys that are
NOT assigned to the poly section i cannot start a polysound, but when i hit
a key in the assigned poly section and simultaniously press a key in the
NON-assigned area i still hear it! Very strange...
Perhaps someone knows from experience what it could be?
Thanks,
Rutger
