[sdiy] DR110 repaired, possible trigger ins?

hmm, this got me thinking. i've been trying to trigger the drum sounds of my
maestro rhythm king from the outside. this thing has no schematics and is a
jungle of old wiring and discrete parts inside. i'd love to find some
trigger in for the rhythms to be synced, but there's no way finding it by
poking around. this is no 606: it's the size of an old radio.
however, it has trigger buttons for the sounds on the front. they're simple
springs; the middle one is held against the outside one when the button is
untouched. if you push it, you push the middle one to make contact to the
inside one and the sound is triggered. i've tried every conbination, but i
can't get them to respond to a trigger from something like an 808. could
this be the reason?

btw the idea of a dr110 in a 707 housing is excellent!
