i think that the SYNTHESIZER audio applications of this technology could
be very interesting... ["phat bass"] imagine the possibilities of being able
to focus low frequencies that you would normally not be able to hear, i've
done some experimentation on this using [i just completely forgot what they
are called... essentially subwoofers w/o audio output... makes vibrations],
but they literally shook the room up. you could have some great screeching
leads too. the one downpoint is that you would always have to stay in one
place while the thing is aimed at you, which would make it a sort of
proprietary studio or audiophile equipment.... they could probably be used
for some amazing surround sound kind of things too, maybe even applications
in [3d audio] movies [different languages for different audience members]!
