[sdiy] ve a GOOD Matrix 1000 schematic ???

About the M1000/M6, the Matrix 6 had 3 HFO's a
reason why one could split its voices into 2/4 or 4/2.

In the M1000 there are five 82C54, four are used
for the 6 voices, (2DCO's each) the fifht 82C54
seams to be used as (brutal guess)system clock
timing.

The 82C54 CLK input seams to be the CPU (68B09) E clock. (the E clk are
phase 2 of CPU) Im not 100% shure but in the 6809 the E pin are defined
as async clock "input". And in the 68B09 its an output!? Hmm, but using
the gudiance of the ARP Chroma schematics, wich uses the 68B09 i hold my
thumbs and since the M1000 CPU clk are 8Mhz then 8/4 gives E of 2Mhz
wich would give a lowest note of 30Hz from the 82C54! (30,86Hz =B0)

My M1000 shemos are incomplete so its difficult to know wether there
is a prescaler between the E and 82C54? (i have some fade memory of
a two phase clk of the 68B09 to do the 6502 memory trick).

Due to the "guessed" lack of HFO the M1000 would infact have much
worser high freq perfomance compared to the M6! But it would be as
the M6 splendid at bass range! Is there any M1000 user here who
could say how the M1000 behaves at high octave range?

I might be completely wrong but whats your guess about this?
