[sdiy] Proximity detector

Thanks for all the answers!

I think I will start with a theremin type of circuit. I need
it to generate MIDI control data from a dancer. I don't need
so much precision, but a longer range. So perhaps I will
have to use an IR detector eventually. But I have already
got the parts for the theremin circuits.

Someone recently posted some info about the QT301 chip.

Also, there are a couple IR modules popular with robotics
folks that are configured as proximity detectors.

Also try a search on the Theremin.
