No argument possible here -- you're absolutely correct.  I wasted way too 
many years fumbling around with substandard (or just plain wrong) tools --
as has been noted here before (& is probably in the archives), GOOD tools 
and THE RIGHT tools can make all the difference between an interesting, 
enjoyable, PRODUCTIVE experience and a PITA.
