Hi,
Not sure about specs for the DS-1, but a friend has one + I've used it on
occasion. His has problems as well-- on the same level as what you've
mentioned of the one you're looking at-- but it is a unique-sounding
synth. I'd be happy to own one.
Andrew.

on the Crumar Ds-1, does anyone have any more info on it other than
the
hyperreal ds-1/2 info sheet, schematics/repair docs possibly?

i have the opportunity to buy one [for a pretty good price] that needs a
little internal TLC; some scratchy pots, the pitch bend is bypassed, one
key
plays the wrong note. other than that the only thing wrong is that the
keytop is missing from one of the black keys.

for control, it only has Gate in and out... does anyone know if it can be
modded for CV 1v/oct in/out, or if it follows its own rules?
also... no one happens to have any samples/examples/clips of it do
they?

thanks.
