It depends on the relative phase of the sawtooth and the suboctave
square. If the rising edge of the sawtooth and the square align then
you will get very close to a sawtooth at the suboctave pitch. If the
sawtooth retrace and the square downward edge are not precisely the
same there will be some kind of glitch at the point the downward
(slow) edge of the suboctave saw crosses zero.
