[sdiy] pitch to cv converter

Ah, I understand now. Thanks for clearing that up.
I’ve never seen anyone clone that portion of the MS-20, nor have I ever
heard of anyone actually using that function. You do see a lot of clones of
the filters and the VCOs however. You might want to look at
HYPERLINK
"http://machines.hyperreal.org/manufacturers/Korg/MS-synths/"http://machines
.hyperreal.org/manufacturers/Korg/MS-synths/
to see if you can dig up a copy of the schemos. Again, I’ve never heard of
anyone using that particular feature on the MS-20. From that, I would gather
that it is either 1) not that useful or 2) is useful, but the MS-20
implementation doesn’t work very well. There have been several discussions
recently about pitch to CV conversion, but the main thing to remember is
that pitch conversion is tricky. Any comments from MS-20 owners out there?

yes my website sucks, the guy doing it quit due to my being too demanding.
but this has nothing to do with the question, its just the signature on my
email. what i was wondering is if anyone had ever tried to build a pitch to
cv converter. i have no schematic for it and the web link has nothing to do
with my question. i guess it does seem that way reading my message though.
soory for the confusion.

Uh, this link points me to a whole lot of nothing. First off, you have to
have Flash player just to read the intro screen (wouldn’t this be a whole
lot easier and faster to do in…oh, I don’t know…plain text maybe?),
secondly, I couldn’t for the life of me find the link to the schematics you
mentioned. Is there a more direct URL?
