Whenever I've watched it on video, it doesn't look like it's actually
controlling it - there's one example that immediately leap to my mind where
mistakes are made and the music does not change - the first Eiffel Tower
concert where he slips and hits another beam. At the end of the piece, he
looks at the harp and shakes his head disapprovingly...

I also saw him in his second European tour where he played at Caen (France),
and the first piece started up (Oxygene 7), but the harp didn't appear to be
working. He said (in French) "And you thought I didn't play it". They
cancelled  the track...
