I heard that he had got NINE minimoogs before, and all of them have
been stolen... I think now he's got only two: an old "D" model and
a "Voyager".

That "some glide" seems to be very important! I have a Mini and I tried
to get the sound of Rick's Minimoog many times... And finally I got the
sound after setting up a short portamento.
What's also important, in some pieces (eg. "And You And I") Rick seems
to tune the third VCO of the Mini two octaves higher (2') than the others
(8').
