[sdiy] I finally did some SDIY this weekend

Well, it has been over a month since I have done any synth work, in fact,
it might have been two months. In May, I was sweating the upcoming
colonoscopy, so I was just never in the mood (and no, I will not be posting
the pictures on my website :-). After the proceedure I was not feeling
very good, they make you overdose on a laxative the day before, and, now
three weeks later, I am finally recovering from that. I no longer find
that prank in Dumb and Dumber funny....

What I worked on today was a board for the sequencer I am working on. This
is the final board for the first of three modules (these are 8U x 19"
modules). This module is a logic module....sort of like having a patchable
22V10, although, a 22V10 has a lot more power. This last board has a
voltage controlled clock, with the clock being gatable (and it will always
generate full clock cycles), an 8 bit quantizer (aka AD converter), and two
8 bit shift registers. The other boards have 4 input-4wide AND-OR arrays,
4 bit ALU (add, subtract, and, or, xor, zero), 4 bit D register, JK
flip-flops, XOR gates, and a few other little odd balls. I hope I can get
this thing done before the September PNW-DIY meet....
