There is a device who makes TH devices to SMD, its a manual device
who first cut the legs to desired lenght then bend the legs to the
desired angle. Its very neat, it fitts in your lap, i have worked
for a couple of days to do this thing for a former employer when i
didnt have anything else to do, you put a tube full of DIP IC's in
one end and another empty tube at the other end, then grab the
hand pedal handle (dont know the word for it in english imagine
a bicycle pedal with its 90 deg axel but made for hand grabbing
instead) and start to wave/peddaling , and out comes ready SMD
devices ready for the pick and place machine.
