Heh.  I have a better definition for "brown noise",  though -- it's that 
verbiage that comes out of any center of political activity,  capital,  or 
whatever...		:-)

Anybody else remember a band calle "The Fugs" from back in the sixties?  I saw 
them perform a tune that expresses this quite well,  entitled "Rivers of 
S__t"!
