[sdiy] Changing Pot Values

rmember, that if your using a resistor in series, then your never going to
reach zero ohm.

parallel will certainly give the two values at either end of the knob travel
correctly, but im thinking that the curve between these two points would be
altered?  if i was keen id do the maths, but my brain isnt that flowing
right now.
