I've seen them sell for 30-35 bucks.
The SN76477 powers the Blacet Dark Star Chaos:

In 1981, Thomas Henry designed the Super Controller around it. Now found in his book "Electronic Music Circuits: The Reprints"

Hi
Are those sn76477 any good for anything? I am an electrical engineer.
Back in the 70s and early 80s I did lots of synthesizer work, then went
off to work in the linear accelerator field (I am an old fart). Anyway I was
looking at some of my old stock(8038s top octave generators 566s etc. and
in one bin was some dozen 76477s. What do you use them for, I think
I used them for drum synths. Are they really worth 100 bucks? No way!
