Sorry - let me clarify.  The UA726 was in the expo converter in the VCOs.
So, you'll need three of them.

Now take it from me, who a while back started with a Buchla 258 type circuit
(that also uses this part) and slowly weeded out all the unobtainium until
it was gone, the 726 is not irreplaceable by any means in regard to its
sound or effect on the VCO's range.  What it also provided however was the
temp compensation.  So without it or without another method (did I hear
someone say tempco?) your VCOs are going to be all over the place.

The irony of it all, while I don't have all that much experience with
mini's, the 258 wasn't all that stable to begin even with the 726.  Matter
of fact, I've got my VCO much more stable without it using a different  NPN
pair (MAT type, but that's not the one I'm using and I'm not talking) and a
tempco.
