[sdiy] BC550C in place of BC548C in Rene's VCO3

I have finally gotten MOST of the parts to build the VCO3.  The BC548C is on
back order at Newark, however, and I don't want to wait a few more months for
that one part, nor do I want to order one part and pay a $6 shipping bill.

My question is, can I simply substitute it with a BC550C?  I have a whole reel
of these and it would be a very easy solution for me.
