Cynthia,
Yes, the AR-341 Dual VCO looks like a Saw Osc, never saw one of these VCO's.
The ARIES synth is part of an apparently interlocking group of Synth
companies people, always wanted to know the interconnection of
ARP/ARIES/TAU/DynaSyn/CFR/ElectroScienceMart. I know the late Charles
Rogers (CFR) was involved with the last 5 enterprises and except for ARP all
of the above companies where geographically just a few miles apart. Visited
CFR a couple of times. CFR ended up supporting ARIES and upon it's demise
all the parts from chassis, PCB's and components were availiable from
ElectroScienceMart (in the same building as CFR).
regards,
p

Hi Phil!
Let us see...
(Only that they have more than one VCO Model Number, that's all)
In their price list of'78 are:
AR-317 VCO
AR-338 PMS VCO
AR-341 Dual VCO
AR-345 VCO Envelope Generator
(A friend had an oddball oscillator from Aries, not sure if it's
one of these already numbered though, maybe a design that was discontinued?)
