You wouldn't perchance happen to know of a way to recover the copper and
iron in a form that could be taken to a metal recycling facility? I know
that professional photographic darkrooms recover silver from their film
processing activities, and then sell it to be recycled. It can amount to a
fairly large amount of recovered money for a busy photo lab.

Of course, even if you did recover the copper and iron for recycling,
heaven only knows what else would be left behind, after the metal
extraction.  ;)
