OK, I have to admit it. It's time to come "clean" and apologise.
***I have a organizational problem***
It all started with resistors... I originally stored them all together,
regardless of type, in a small plastic case. It was a rightly good mess. But
then I aquired more... I started sorting them by type and wattage. Over the
years my stock grew and grew... I found myself sorting them into more and more
discrete piles, and making my own drawer dividers to replace all the ones I had
already used up.
But it wasn't enough!!
Next was the wire... a huge ratsnest in a old tattered cadboard box. I spent
hours sorting and coiling... I just couldn't stop! And then the capacitors and
semiconductors... it's almost too painful to type! The hardware almost killed
me, should I sort by length, thread, head, or material??
My life was spiralling out of control!!!
Then came the divorce. Once I was able to get complete control over all aspects
of my dwelling and my cash flow, I was able to fully endulge my nasty habit. I
bought so many shelving units at Canadian Tire that I received HUGE discounts!
An electronic supplier going out of business gave me cardboard bins. There was
just no end!!!!!
Whew!
OK, just let me relax for a bit...
So, anyways, in order to combat this hideous disorder of mine, and come out of
the closet, er, basement, I now lay bare my inner self...
***********************************************************
We start with the hallway, as you descend the basement stairs. Here lies a
small reminder of the past glory of the beautiful wilderness that once was in
abundance. I must strive to preserve and nurture this unique area, hopefully it
will grow with time and care:

Next is the "music" room. This space was once a vast citadel of unorganized
mess, with piles of "stuff" stacked to the ceiling. Unfortunately, this area
has suffered the most from the shelving syndrome, as can be seen here. Luckily,
all is not lost as there are still a few small pockets of piled mayhem here and
there:

We now come to the store room/shipping supply. This wonderful area is a perfect
example of an evolving type of circular cycling mess, and is not in any
immediate danger of destruction:

Next is a rare view of The Peasant's Northern Trading Post. You can see it's
struggling, but with it's small allocated space, it's holding it's own:

And finally the main workbench area, the hardest hit area of all. Most of it is
a virtual desert of organization, with accurate labels and ample room inside
drawers. Equipment feels too comfortable in the spacious work area, and denys
me the advanced learning opportunities of a disaster area. I'm feel so bad for
making people actually look at this horror!! But wait, there's hope, if you
look carefully there are some small bits of mess hiding in the corners:

When I can't stand the sight of the results of my evil ways, I go upstairs and
use the small portable bench. Oh crap, it's fairly clean right now too,
although it's hard to see any exposed surface:

I'm so sick, I'm so ashamed... PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!
