   Absolutely.  Simultaneous panning and filter sweeping is one.  Complex 
FM interactions between 3 oscillators using those two outputs is also 
quite fun.  I dunno, there's endless possibilities.
   But the main reason is that I only have oscillators (I don't feel the 
need to make an LFO bank), so they have to do double duty in both audio 
and LFO ranges.  So it was an important decision that all of the main 
waves be of the same frequency and work very well in both low and high 
frequencies.
   Of course mine do have a number of double frequency waves, but that's 
just icing on the cake.  :)
