as with synths, they will come back from it. i've converted plenty of people
back to analogue mixers and tape recorders. i know plenty of people in what
i'll call the dance community that still use all analogue recording gear,
it's not too far of a leap since they're already big vinyl supporters as
well. and now rap and r&b is using more and more of this gear as well. maybe
the generation that originally worked with this gear doesn't like it anymore
and prefers digital, but there's a healthy interest from a newer generation
as well.. all is not lost..;-)
it's also something i'm planning to do with the releases on our vynalogica
label: make them completely analogue again, from synths to recording,
mastering and pressing. and then put a proud AAA on the label..;-)
