I've fixed other Chroma Polaris synths with methods pretty much like you
describe, but I'm really getting tired of the membrane switch panel. Even
if I fix the current Polaris by reworking the membrane, I'll still be
wishing it had tactile switches, a fiberglass PCB, durable connectors, and
stranded copper wires.
