[sdiy] Strange LCD display

Hi!

Yesterday I found a nice little LCD display for which I paid virtually nothing.
It's a large nice little display, but I am lacking info about it. It's an IEE
Daystar Nova 03803-03-040. It has a 26-pin block header contact where I can
identify ground and +5V, but I don't know what the other pins are for. Also, I
don't know the commands for it.

So, any hints is welcome. If you know what chips is sitting in it for instance,
I would be very happy, if you could dig up pinning etc. for it I would be
happy.

I know it is a 2x20 display, it has a 5x7 matrix per character with an
additional 5x1 underline.

I also know that it has 5 plastic flat packages, one which seems to be the
controller and 4 drivers, which is kind of expected. I can't see what they are
since the display is in the way and it is a bit tricky to remove the display
safely, so I would prefer to get the information in a potentially less
destructive fashion since I want to be able to use this unit.

Cheers,
Magnus
