Dik Mik used a regular test oscillator and a Binson Echorec.

I believe the Dellatron is a double bladed broad axe with a single steel
string and pickup stretched down the length of the handle. The pickup feeds
an EMS pitch to voltage converter. It acts like a large linear controller
that can be strummed. He controls a Synthi EMS with it.

When we opened for Nik Turner at Steve Tyler's bar (Mamakins) in Boston, I
bent down to set up a foot pedal, I cut my head on the axe. There was blood
running down my face so I ran to the bathroom, there was a girl standing in
the way and I yelled at her, it was Liv Tyler
