In any event, this would be really really simple.  Go here:

This is my  LSJ (laughably simple joystick) module, which does use 50ks. If
you want it to match perfectly to the output range of the Waird, find out
what that it and either stick a divider in at it's output, or add the
correct value feedback resistor (where there currently is none) between the
the - and output of the opamps.
