Yes, but I have no idea if it's a real German word.  The thing is, uber has
no meaning in German that I'm aware of (I was fluent 20 years ago...)

I wrote my own email system (there's a give-away line in my header), so even
though I'm an American English speaker (which is a disappointingly boring
written language with weird spelling and no cool glyphs), I wrote some
buttons that allow me to insert common glyphs like é ñ ö and ü.  It did this
because I like to spell things correctly, even in languages that are foreign
to me, especially people's names like René Schmitz.
