MinBLEP would probably be best suited here. Whenever the comparator trips,
you mix in appropriate minBLEP pulse. If you want to simulate finite reset
time, things get a bit trickier and minimum phase BLIT (basically minBLEP
without the integration part) and integration would probably be best.
