Everything I build is for my own use. I gave up on etching PC boards. I can
build a circuit on prefboard faster than I can layout a PC board and etch it.
With most schematics it takes about 30 minutes per IC (up to 16 pins). I have
reached the point where I can hand wire and assemble a module in 2-3 hours. The
longest time (almost) is spent laying out and drilling the front panel.
