Interesting. I have Visual Studio 6.0 which contains MS VC++, (Also GNU
C++).  However, I'm quite a slacker and though I am a very good C
programmer with good comprehension of math methods, I never liked the
object implementation of C++ and so I ignored it.

How dependant is VST on objects?

How much in the way of cookbook programs, templates and simple examples
are there available for neophytes such as myself?

Good website pointers for such things?

One thing I've got right now as an umemployed programmer is a lot of time.
