That range marks the system common messages, but I wouldn't count
0xf0-0xf7 to the group of realtime messages. In fact, RMs can e.g. occur
within a running sysex transfer.
http://www.borg.com/~jglatt/tech/midispec.htm gives the same definition
and only lists 0xf8-0xff as system realtime messages. (Although I wonder
what the MTC Quarter Frame / "timing clock in stop" is good for if it's
not realtime. I always wondered which kind of equipment makes use of
that message.)
