[sdiy] making PCBs, what's your method?

I've been etching PCBs at home for years. In best times I draw schematic
in the morning, design PCB about noon, and by the evening I had soldered
working circuit. For that reason nothing beats home made PCBs - it's
quick.
But for about 6 years I do all my PCBs in PCB fab. Just send them
Protel file and get the boards after 2-3 weeks. The advantages are:
- no nasty hemicals at home
- results look proffesional
- 1 or 100 boards takes the same effort
- it may be actually cheaper if you consider your health and time
- no way to make plated holes or soldermask at home
- design can be more dense than any home method alows
There are cheap PCB fabs around the world if you look carefully.
I can recommend mine but they don't deal worldwide
