[sdiy] Duplicating plastic parts - remanufacture?

Hello there,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of remanufactureing
irreplaceable plastic parts.

I'm most interested in if there's companies about (I'm in England, but if
they exist elsewhere, then they'll exist here also) who will take a part off
you, and make a duplicate.  I don't know anything about this, but I'm
assuming resins and stuff like that?

Ive seen stuff like remade sh-101 benders / knobs and the like, so i know
its possible, but i know little else.
