[sdiy] analogue multipliers?

hi fernando,

thanks for the links! the logistic function circuit looks like lots of
fun.

re. the multipliers, i've looked at the data sheets and it looks like
the MPY634 is more precise and has a wider bandwidth, but for music
purposes (even into audio frequencies) the AD633 should be fine... i'm
by no means an expert though, so anyone please correct me if i'm wrong.
i'll post some results if/when it's up and running. i can't quite
justify spending £60 for two ICs, for that much i could add a 'proper'
module to my synth... i suppose you can tell i've only been on this list
for 24 hours? ;)

Hi Thom,

RS (UK) have both the AD633 and the more expensive MPY634.
I was thinking in building that circuit too and wondering if it akes any
difference (MPY634 or AD633) ...
