Federal Communications Commission, Title 47, Part 15, makes specific mention
of RF devices and digital devices be makes no mention of audio devices. All
audio devices are exempt. Probably, Class D audio idevices are probably not
exempt.
Frequencies of interest to the FCC range from 9KHz to 40GHz.
Power levels from modular synths are low. Do V squared /R. Harmonics are
progressively lower in amplitude. Radiating "antennas" on modular synths are
short.
I believe that the FCC has little interest in part 15 anymore since that
have given the green flag to Broadband over Power Line. BPL will include
substantial RF radiation over a spectrum of 0Hz to 30MHz through antennas
that are miles long.
Rant: Ignore the laws of physics to feed the avarice.
Take care,
John
