I believe the Don Lancaster Psych-Tone was much simpler than the Muse.
There's a photo and simple schematic in Don Lancaster's TTL Cookbook, first
edition, page 283. Like the Muse this uses a Shift Register and XOR
feedback network to generate pseudo-random sequences.
