Doug,
I'll have you know that your salvage webpage inspired me to salvage the
toaster oven that recently died on us (one spot on a heating element became
white hot and started melting!). I salvaged a power cord, a solenoid, some
ceramic insulators, 2 knobs, a wire shelf, and a few other bits. Should've
saved some of the sheet metal too, oops. (Space is limited, though.)

You should be proud of me! My wife on the other hand -- well, she already
thought I was nuts. ;-)
