I did actually mean to put a smiley there! Really - honest!

I remember a computer music program a long time ago (14 yearsish) that had a
"bagpipe" mode - just left two voices stuck on the same note. In fact, it
was the only way to get polyphonic sound from the program (whose name I've
fortunately forgotten :) ).
