I think an interesting project would be an oscillator core with a 
deliberately increased amount of jitter. Since we're running in the MHz 
range, something simple like injecting noise into a voltage summer probably 
won't do it, unless it's filtered very high bandwidth noise.

I'm intrigued by the similarity between something like this and digital 
noise shaping dither.

I'll have a play with Reaktor and see if there is a very simple digital 
equivalent, just in case.
