Yes... again my lament is that it is getting harder
and more expensive to make your own (with the newer
technology).  Hacking an existing unit is often a good
way to proceed.  I can hack (for instance) a Matrix6R
into a guitar synth... but hacking a newer machine
would
be quite hard, unless I had the ability to get inside
their technology.


With the cost of development rising, corporations will
pay attention only to the big volume items

and the smaller ones will never see the market. OTOH
it
seems like everyone wants a TB-303 so maybe diversity
is overrated  :^P
