Oh yeah, the hex wrench needs to go deeeeeep into the hole in the knob
before it reaches the nut. You have to keep wiggling it deeper. sometimes
it feels like you hit bottom but there is still further to go.
You know it is so cool that you can push the fine tune knob in so when you
turn the course platter there is less resistance.
Mine also has a metal piece that connects one of the outputs (balanced!!!)
to GND for unbalanced operation. I though that output was broken because it
is behind the screw terminals on the binding posts. I wish it had an input
though...
