I didn't mean to imply that you had coined it. If Pease was complaining
"It's not an opamp", then someone must have been calling it that. The Horn
book just mentioned could have been one example. I just hadn't been aware
of this issue before.

Don't know. I presume someone named Norton invented the topology, but I
have never seen an actual reference.
It would be fun to experiment with the 359 ... but so little time.
