There's another option but I dont know if anyone has tried using one
for musical applications...
For VERY short delays they make small delay line ICs for use in radars
and the like.  150ns delay with 16 taps, that sorta thing.  Unfortunatly
they are a bit pricey unless you buy them surplus...

I dont think that short a delay is even going to be noticable tho.
