Tom G's RXCV; not the Pro, the simpler/cheaper one. The EFM stuff looked
like a good place to start out in all this, so back a couple of years ago
when he had his "moving sale" I picked up a few boards and small kits. I've
finally got almost the time and money (which means, greater than nill, but
still close to nill) to start building.

I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the RXCV board soldered up...but
I'm still waiting on sockets (the infamous Jameco order). It's sorta like
duck hunting...you don't dare calculate what each one REALLY cost you, it's
better just to enjoy 'em and think nice thoughts. And whatever you do, don't
let the spouse know final unit costs!!
