Hi Nate...
I'm not using a Guitar Synth (used to use the GM-70). I'm planning to use the
string sound directly (Hex Fuzz) into the MAtrix voice chips. The idea will be
to
trigger the envelope generators with a dummy 'note-on / note-off' from an
external
circuit. The unit will have actual velocity info, but the oscillators will be
turned OFF
so there will be no MIDI conversion delays. Kind of an advanced form of what
I'm
already doing with my Hex Fuzz unit.
Since the audio is hard-wired... its imperative that the trigger signals
activate the proper
channel each time or its a loser !!!
