I don't have enough experience in such areas to comment specifically on the
technology.
However, I can say that I talked to them at NAMM on Thursday and their
local rep Ivan Chiang (ivan.chiang at anadigm.com) seemed cool and overall
small-developer friendly.
The basic developer kit including design software is $200. Ivan also
mentioned a "higher up" kit that was normally $400 (or something similar)
but you can get it for $200 if you're a contractor/consultant... which I
think means you just have to say "I'm a consultant".
That cost on the design software is a one-time charge regardless of how
many programmed chips you sell. In small quantities they quoted about $10
per chip.
No, I'm not affiliated with them what-so-ever.
